This page will be a holding space for updates, news, and opportunities from the creative community in Edinburgh during the ongoing situation with the Covid-19 pandemic.
We appreciate the situation is constantly evolving, and so in light of the latest government guidance, Edinburgh City of Literature made the decision to close its offices last week.
Our staff will still be working from home, and most of our work will continue on as usual. Our priority is and has always been to support the brilliant work going on in our literary city and in our sister Cities of Literature.
With this in mind, we will be looking for ways to promote and connect our literary community in the coming weeks, as well as reaching out to our fellow Cities of Literature across the globe via our digital platforms.
Stay posted for online videos, write-ups, conversations and more. We will be posting updates here on our website and on our social media channels. You can follow us at @EdinCityofLit on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
For any enquiries or further information regarding the closure of literary businesses and organisations in the city, to the promotion of online events and activities, and our City of Literature network, please contact edinburgh@cityofliterature.com.
In the meantime, Creative Scotland has some useful links for artists, practitioners and organisations during the Covid-19 pandemic on their website.
For now, please stay safe and make sure you take the necessary steps to keep others protected during this difficult time.
