About the Edinburgh Literary Salon
The Salon is a free monthly event which provides a meeting point for those in the literary industries in Edinburgh and surrounding areas, to gather, socialise and exchange ideas and information and to help maintain a healthy and vibrant literary arts community in Scotland. It takes place on the last Tuesday of each month.
Having run the Edinburgh Literary Salon for fourteen years, in 2018, following a brief pause, Edinburgh City of Literature passed the torch to the current Steering Group, who have continued the tradition of the monthly Salon, forming and maintaining connections with the city's literary community.
