**Update - Craigmillar, Drumbrae, Gilmerton, and Westerhailes libraries are re-opening on 14 December 2020.
Central, Kirkliston, McDonald Road, Fountainbridge, Stockbridge and Newington libraries re-opened on Tuesday 6 October to the public. As a means of ensuring safety and compliance with Covid-19 guidelines, visitor numbers within buildings will be limited and social distancing measures will be in place.
As a city we are endlessly grateful for the work of the staff and volunteers who make our libraries what they are. Not only a home to books, they are also spaces of support and community.
